Das Anwendungsgebiet von Druckschaltern

Sie benötigen die Druckschalter zur Drucküberwachung, beispielsweise in Kompressoren und in Pumpen. Die Bauteile lösen bei zuvor definierten Druckgrenzen aus, wodurch die Sicherheit in den Systemen gewährleistet wird.

Die Funktionsweise der mechanischen Druckschalter

Ausgelöst wird die Reaktion durch den Prozessdruck. Das Messelement reagiert auf den Prozessdruck. Als Messelemente können ein Kolben oder eine Membran verbaut sein. Für Systeme mit niedrigen Drücken werden meistens mechanische Druckschalter mit Membran verwendet. In Systemen mit höheren Drücken findet man im Allgemeinen Druckkolben mit einem kleinflächigen Kolben. So passen Sie Kraft der vorgespannten Feder an

Über die Einstellschraube des Druckschalters wird die Kraft der Feder angepasst. Bei einer stark eingedrehten Feder muss das Messinstrument eine große Kraft überwinden. Der Druckschalter reagiert dadurch später. In der Konsequenz erhöht sich der Schaltpunkt. Der resultierende Schaltpunkt wird durch die Federgeometrie bestimmt. Der Grad der Federvorspannung definiert den Schaltpunkt. Bei steigendem Druck wird der Schaltpunkt eingestellt, bei fallendem Druck stellt sich der Rückschaltpunkt ein.

Wie wähle ich den Einstellbereich aus?

Wenn Sie den Einstellbereich auswählen, dann müssen Sie den dem Druckschalter unterliegenden maximalen Systemdruck berücksichtigen. Die Überlastsicherheit ist größer als der Einstellbereich. Druckspitzen werden abgefangen. Diese Eigenschaft ist unter anderem im Kontext der Leerlaufsicherung in Pumpen von Belang. Die Sicherheit erhöht sich, wodurch Beschädigungen am System vermieden werden.

Die Eigenschaften elektronischer Druckschalter

Elektronische Druckschalter sind eine digitale Alternative zu mechanischen Druckschaltern. Einige Modelle sind mit einer digitalen Anzeige ausgestattet. Ein grundsätzlicher Vorteil der elektronischen Druckschalter ist die schnellere Reaktionszeit. Des Weiteren entsteht kein Anprallverschleiß bei den Bauteilen.

Auf diese Punkte müssen Sie bei der Auswahl der Druckschalter achten:

  • Temperaturbereich: Angegeben sind die Minimaltemperatur und die Maximaltemperatur, bei denen der Druckschalter betrieben werden darf.
  • Druckbereich: Das Unterschreiten oder Überschreiten des zulässigen Druckbereichs führt zu Beschädigungen.
  • Material: Hochwertige Materialien sorgen für eine lange Nutzungszeit. Ein Beispiel für ein sehr gut geeignetes Material ist gehärteter Edelstahl.

Das Material der Druckschalter

Ein wichtiger Aspekt hinsichtlich des verwendeten Materials ist die Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Gehärteter Edelstahl ist unempfindlich gegenüber Feuchtigkeit und Säuren, wodurch er eine lange Nutzungsdauer erreicht. Verzinkter Stahl weist ebenfalls hervorragende Eigenschaften auf, wie die Robustheit.
