Magnetventile mit elektrischer Steuerung, die sich aus integrierten Magneten, beweglichen Kolben und elektrischen Spulen ergibt, gehören zu den am weitesten verbreiteten Ventilformen - und sind in entsprechend vielen Bauformen und Varianten erhältlich. Bei RIEGLER erhalten Sie verschiedene Magnetventile, zum Beispiel mit 2/2- oder 3/2-Wege-Ausführung und wahlweise aus Edelstahl oder Messing. Funktionsweise und Aufbau von Magnetventilen

Die Hauptkomponenten bei dieser Art von Ventilen sind einerseits die namensgebenden Magnete und andererseits der Ventilkörper. Die Magnetspule enthält einen mittigen Eisenkern, der im Fachjargon schlicht "Kolben" genannt wird. Dieser kann im Ruhezustand des Ventils entweder "normally open" (NO-Ventile) oder "normally closed" (NC-Ventile) sein - beide Varianten finden Sie auch im RIEGLER Online-Shop. Wie die Bezeichnungen korrekt vermuten lassen, ist das Ventil ohne Stromfluss dann entweder offen oder geschlossen. Sobald Strom den Magneten erreicht, kommt es zu einer Aktivität der Spule, wodurch ein Magnetfeld entsteht - welches eine Wirkung gegenüber dem Kolben entfaltet. Bei geschlossenen Ventilen in Ruhestellung kommt es nun zu einer Öffnung, andersherum kommt es bei normal offenen Ventilen zu einer Schließung und damit einer Blockade des Medienflusses. Magnetventile besitzen zudem noch einen Abschattungsring, welcher die mechanischen Vibrationen durch die Spulen verhindert.

Der robuste Aufbau führt dazu, dass Magnetventile heutzutage häufig eingesetzt werden - zumal sie hinsichtlich ihrer Anwendung kaum begrenzt sind. Sie können sowohl in Anlagen mit kleinem oder großem Medienfluss als auch in solchen mit hohem oder niedrigem Druck genutzt werden.

Unterscheidung zwischen 2- und 3-Wege-Ventilen

Wie bereits eingangs dargelegt, können Sie bei RIEGLER entweder Magnetventile mit 2- oder 3-Wegen kaufen. Ihre allgemeine Funktion, das Öffnen, Schließen, Verteilen und Mischen des Mediums und Durchflusses, behalten sie unabhängig davon weitgehend bei.

2-Wege-Ventile charakterisiert der Umstand, dass diese zwei Anschlüsse haben. Das ist einerseits der Auslass, andererseits der Einlass. Welche Durchflussrichtung vorgegeben ist, zeigt typischerweise ein Pfeil an. Die zwei verbauten Wege sorgen dafür, dass diese Ventile wahlweise zum Öffnen oder Schließen genutzt werden können.

Mehr Flexibilität bietet ein 3-Wege-Ventil, das getreu seiner Bezeichnung nun drei Anschlussöffnungen hat. Meistens haben diese Ventile zwei mögliche Positionen, folglich wird je nach Bedarf zwischen zwei Schaltkreisen geschaltet. Dadurch können diese Ventile nicht nur Öffnen und Schließen, sondern auch für Misch- oder Verteilvorgänge des Mediums und Durchflusses genutzt werden.

So gehen Sie beim Kauf Ihrer Magnetventile vor

Bestimmen Sie zunächst, ob Sie für Ihre Anlage ein 2- oder 3-Wege-Ventil benötigen. Anschließend ist auf das Gehäusematerial zu achten. Messing-Ventile kommen typischerweise bei neutralen Medien zum Einsatz. Solche aus Edelstahl charakterisiert eine hohe Beständigkeit gegenüber Druck, Temperaturen und chemischen Effekten.

Ob das Magnetventil normal geöffnet oder normal geschlossen ist, sollte die Betriebsdauer beziehungsweise Standardstellung bestimmen. Sie wählen folglich die Stellung, in der sich das Ventil die meiste Zeit befinden wird. Das ist bei den meisten Anlagen eine geschlossene Stellung, folglich wäre ein normal geschlossenes Ventil dann das Mittel der Wahl.
